Julia Ann Vadasz Gilchrist 89, of Wellsburg passed away on Saturday January 19, 2013 in Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville. She was born July 11, 1923 to the late Frank and Julia A. Toth Vadasz in Brilliant, OH. She was catholic by faith and retired from the Pillsbury Co. in Wellsburg.

In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband Norman Gilchrist a daughter Mary Ann Gilchrist, four brothers Frank, Lester, Mike, and Joseph Vadasz and two sisters Mary Brado, Velma Semyak.

She is survived by a son Blaine Gilchrist of PA. 1 Brother Charles Vadasz of FL. and two sisters Helen Mayle of Brilliant, OH. and Elizabeth Kirchner of Follansbee and one granddaughter Hannah Gilchrist, also a special thanks to her niece Linda Tomaino.

Visitation will be held on Monday January 21 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery in Beech Bottom.
