LANDOVER, Md. - Charles J. Kittredge, 60, of 7110 Annapolis Road, Landover Hills, formerly of Clinton, Mass., died Friday in Washington (D.C.) Hospital Center after an illness.
He leaves his wife, Margaret Redick Kittredge; a son, John Redick of Chesapeake Beach; a sister, Elizabeth A. Joyce; nephews and nieces. He was born in Clinton, Mass., son of Judge Austin J. and Alice G. (O'Malley) Kittredge, and lived 38 years in the Washington area.
He graduated from Clinton High School in 1948. He earned a bachelor's degree from St. Michael's College in Winooski, Vt., in 1952 and a law degree from Georgetown University Law School, Washington, D.C., in 1955.
He was a lawyer for many years for Carr, Goodson & Lee, a Washington law firm. He previously worked at Welch, Murphy & Welch, a Washington law firm. He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Landover Hills, and the Maryland and District of Columbia Bar associations.
Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster, Mass.
