Born on June 29, 1959 in St. Peter, Minnesota, Scott was the son of Donald and Joyce (Heilman) Ziemke. He attended Waseca High School. Scott worked as an independent contractor for many years and the last fifteen years worked as a yard leader at UBC/Probuild in Waseca.
Scott enjoyed turkey and coon hunting and was very active in the NWTF and Crane Creek Coon Hunters Clubs. He was a member of North Waseca Lutheran Church in Waseca County.
Scott is survived by his fiancé, Becky Frigaard of Janesville; one son, Adam Ziemke of Waseca; two daughters, Amanda Ziemke of Minneapolis, and Allie Ziemke of Waseca; two stepsons, Brody Ernewein and Riley Arnhold of Janesville; mother, Joyce Ziemke of Waseca; five brothers, Terry (Julie) Ziemke of Waseca, Dean Ziemke (special friend, Diane Peterson) of Sleepy Eye, Tim (Bev) Ziemke of Owatonna, Todd Ziemke (special friend, Marge) of Massachusetts, Greg (Denise) Ziemke of Waseca; two sisters, Linda Ziemke and LuAnn (Larry) Anderson of Waseca; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
