Ruby Ruth Anderson, age 86 of Vernal, Utah passed away at the Uintah Care Center on January 29, 2013. She was born November 20, 1926 in Vernal to Henry and Nellie Powell Kloeppel.

Ruby Married James (Jim) Anderson in 1951 in Tijuana, Mexico. Together they owned and operated Jims Cafe in Vernal for many years. Jim passed away in 1989.

She belonged to the LDS Church in Ashley 1st Ward. Ruby was a very fun, light hearted, social person. She had fun where ever she was, and truly enjoyed life. Many times you would see her Cadillac decorated up for different holidays.

She is survived by her children; Melody (Gerald) Smith, and Jimmy (Jeannie) Anderson of Vernal, brothers; Jerry (Janet) Kloeppel and Walter Kloeppel, and sister; Alvaretta (Blair) Johnson, six grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim, daughter; Rosanna Anderson, and sister; Mae Sizemore.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ashley 1st Ward LDS Chapel with viewings Friday evening from 6-8 at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary and 1 hour prior to services at the church.
