INJURIES FATAL TO EDWARD F KESSING
Cincinnati, O, Dec 17 -- Edward F Kessing, 74, manager of the Harmeyer Paint Co for the past 22 years, died at the Good Samaritan hospital here Tuesday of injuries sustained when he was struck by an automobile.

Kessing stepped from a loading platform into the path of an automobile driven by Henry F Specht, 310 Pullman avenue, Cheviot, police said.

Born in Oldenburg, Ind, Kessing, who lived at 2929 Fischer place, Westwood, was proprietor of a general store in his native city before coming to Cincinnati in 1925. He was a member of the St John Men's Society of St Catherine church, Westwood.

Kessing, who had been married for 43 years, is survived by his widow, Mrs Anna Kessing; a daughter, Mrs Grace Theobald of Westwood, and three grandchildren.

Requiem high mass will be sung at 8:30 a.m. Friday at St Catherine church. Burial will be at Oldenburg.
