CALDWELL -- Carol Marlene Ogle, 72, of Caldwell, died Wednesday (Sept. 29, 2010) at Genesis- Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville.

She was born Jan. 24, 1938, in Belle Valley, daughter of the late Virgil and Irene Carnes Uhl.

Mrs. Ogle was a 1956 graduate of Belle Valley High School. She was employed as a receptionist by Drs. Ditch and Cox in Caldwell, and retired from the office of Dr. Dan Ailes in New Concord.

She was a member of Belle Valley United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Reds.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Don Uhl.

Surviving are her husband, Edgel B. Ogle, whom she married Aug. 24, 1961; one daughter, Karen S. Ogle of Los Angeles, Calif.; one son, David C. Ogle of the home; two sisters, Joan (Tal) Taylor of Seattle, Wash., and Patty (Dave) Montenaro of Vero Beach, Fla.; one grandson, Lukas M. Kovacevich of Los Angeles, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East St., Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed at 11 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Sandra Payette officiating.

Burial will follow in Dudley Cemetery.
