Born in New Bedford, MA, she had lived in Windsor most of her life. She graduated from John Fitch High School and was employed for 31 years in the Records Department at St. Francis Hospital, retiring in 1984. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, Poquonock.
She leaves six daughters and a son, and their spouses, Juanita and Sheldon Levine, of Windsor, Sandra and Robert Twyman, of Massachusetts, Joanne Baker of Kentucky, Frances and Donald Flynn of West Suffield, Robert and Tina Baker of Windsor Locks, Susan Baker of Windsor, and Barbara and William Latournes, of Windsor; thirteen grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. She also leaves a sister, Eleanor Grosse, of Windsor; and was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Grosse.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 25, 9:15 a.m. from the Carmon-Poquonock Funeral Home, 1816 Poquonock Avenue, Poquonock section of Windsor, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, Poquonock.
