Adam W. Freund, forty-nine, 324 S. Marshall St., died Saturday at 3:50 p.m. in the General Hospital.

Freund had left work a short time earlier due to illness and returned home. He was then taken by ambulance to the hospital where he died soon after admission. Dr. Gilbert Clime, deputy coroner,said death resulted from a heart attack.

Born in Lebanon, a son of Mrs. Agnes McKelvey Freund Brubaker and the late Wendelin Freund, he was employed by John S. Groff, Inc. as an automobile salesman. Freund was formerly self-employed in the sign advertising business.

He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Surviving besides his mother, are his wife, Lolaetta G. Coates Freund, at home; and a son, James P., serving with the U.S.Army in Germany.

Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Helen,wife of Earl Salzman; Malvin W. Brubaker, Richard T. Brubaker, Wallace L. Brubaker, all of Lancaster; Earl M. Brubaker, U.S.Navy in Florida; Robert E. Brubaker, and Donald Brubaker, both of Lancaster.
