She was born in East Stroudsburg on June 2, 1936, the daughter of the late Vernon and Marion Mervine Rinker. She was a 1956 graduate of Stroudsburg High School, Stroudsburg.
Nancy was a former active member of Middlecreek Christian Church, Polk Township, Kresgeville.
Nancy had worked as an assemblywoman for Tyco Trains, Woodbury Heights, N.J. She also worked at the former Jamesway in Blakeslee as a sales clerk.
In her spare time she enjoyed and was an avid bowler. She was also a member of the Monroe County Democratic Club and the Monroe County Environmental Center.
We have been blessed with the presence of Nancy in our lives. She will be deeply missed by her children, William F. Wright III and his wife, Francine, Sewell, N.J.; Debbie Wygant, Luzerne; and Wendy A. Davis and her husband, Donald, Wenonah, N.J. She was the loving and gentle Nana to her five grandchildren, Donald Davis, Matthew Davis, Ashley Henry, Marissa Smyth and Karly Wright, and her two great-grandchildren, Lorna Crockett and Audrina Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Middlecreek Christian Church, Kresgeville, with the Rev. Wes Wales officiating. Family and friends are welcome to offer their condolences from 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the church. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family at Stroudsburg Cemetery, Stroudsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in loving memory of Nancy Anne Wright-Beck to Middlecreek Christian Church, P.O. Box 207, Kresgeville, PA 18333.
