A memorial service for Alvina Flatt of Southeast Portland will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Moreland Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Flatt died of cancer Friday in a Portland hospital. She was 81.
She was born on Aug. 24, 1909, in Wishek, N.D. Her maiden name was Krein. She married Earl Flatt in the 1950s in Longview, Wash.
Mrs. Flatt lived in the Portland area for 40 years and was a teacher at Hosford Middle School until retiring in the 1980s. She was a member of Moreland Presbyterian Church.
Surviving is her husband, Earl.
Disposition will be by cremation.
