In 1889 when she was 4 years old she came to the United States with her family and settled in Norfolk Nebraska
On March 26 1889 Lena was confirmed into the Evangelical Luthern Church in Norfolk by Pastor J.P.Muller. Her confirmation verse was:
1 Timoyhy 4:8 For Bodily exercise profiteth little;but godliness is profitable into all things,having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
Lena Married Clarence Archie Strong on Febuary 5 1902 in Stanton Nebraska they had 12 Children
