Charlotte E. Pope was a teacher in the St. Louis public schools for 50 years. She taught at the Pestalozzi Elementary School from 1916 to 1932 and taught at Cleveland High School until her retirement in 1966. She was a graduate of Harris Teachers College and had a masters degree from Washington University. Charlotte was the only child of Henry Charles & Christena (nee Pfeffer) Pope.
