Janet Lewis Stephenson, 87, of Hattiesburg, died February 10, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Moore Funeral Chapel in Hattiesburg from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. with services immediately following. Burial will be in Roseland Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Stephenson and her husband owned City Ice Company for 20 years. She then retired from Camp Shelby Army Surplus in Hattiesburg in 2010. She was a member of the Garden Club and attended the River of Life Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Malcom Stephenson; three sisters, Vivian Misso, Katherine Keller and Roberta Thompson; and a baby brother.

A dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, she leaves behind four children, Stewart Lewis (Barbara) Stephenson, Judith S. Clingon, Lisa S. Lennon and John Scott Stephenson, all of Hattiesburg; grandchildren, Lt. Col. Stewart Lewis Stephenson, Jr., Shannon C. (Charles) Looney, Everett Lee Clingon, Jr. and Robert Lawrence Lennon, III; and sister, Margaret Lillian Craig of Gainesville, FL.
