The second child of Albert E. and Ruth Lavan (Hemenway) Mohr, he married Viola Grace Fritz in 1947. They had three children: Robert Lee Mohr (born 1949, married Linda Hildebrand, two children); Nancy Lee Mohr (born 1954, married Glenn White, two children); and Susan Lee Mohr (born 1955, married Marlon M. Nelson, two children.) Jack was the Mohr family's very first college graduate (from MSU). He remained with the Federal Land Bank for his entire working life, progressing from a Branch Manager in Charlotte, Michigan to Regional Vice President at which time the family moved to Hastings, Minnesota. He had the best heart in the world and was about the funniest man you would ever want to meet. He is sorely missed by us all.
