Dorothy was born in Laurel, the daughter of John and Katherine Marker on Aug. 11, 1918. She married Dan Zeiler on Sept. 6, 1935, at Buffalo, Wyo. The family moved to Hardin in 1950 after the purchase of the Hardin Meat Market & Slaughterhouse. They retired when the business was sold in 1975 and moved back to Billings in 1982.
Active in the community, she was a volunteer for numerous organizations. As a member of the Fort Custer Golf Club & Elks Club, she was once Club Champion.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, husband Dan, son Danny and grandson Robert.
Survivors include daughters, Joyce Becker of Colusa, Calif., and Sandra Maack of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.
