Nadine I. Amerman was born May 10, 1924 in Kirkwood, Missouri, the daughter of Walter and Elizabeth Welsh Burns. Her siblings include brothers, Frank Burns of Walport, Oregon and Robert Burns of Santa Ana, California.
She married Dr. Walter G. Amerman on November 2, 1941 in Arnold, Missouri. He survives. She leaves two children, Walter G. Amerman Jr. of Murphysboro and Mary K. Simon of Columbus, Ohio.
Mrs. Amerman was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Murphysboro. She also was a member of DAV Auxiliary in Murphysboro and the Murphysboro Senior Citizens.
Nadine died at the age of 60 at the Jackson County Nursing Home.
