1983 - 2013

Adam Ross Blevins, age 29, of Sandy Hook, Ky., passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at his residence.

He was born October 15, 1983, in Portsmouth, OH., a son of Wesley and Sandy Mullins Blevins of Webbville, Ky.

Adam was a member of Local 1445 in Catlettsburg, Ky., and was of the Christian Faith. He loved spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and working on cars. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by two infant daughters, Hailey Dawn Blevins, and Allie Nicole Blevins, maternal grandparents, Mick and Opal Mullins, paternal grandparents, Freddie and Gladys Blevins.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife of seven years, Tara Barker Blevins of Sandy Hook, Ky., one brother and sister-in-law, Wesley and Misty Blevins of Webbville,Ky., one nephew, Noah Blevins of Webbville, Ky., aunts and uncles, Pam Mullins of Shouth Shore, Ky., Steve and Kim Mullins of South Shore, Ky., Mike and Linda Mullins of South Portsmouth, Ky., mother-in-law, Sue Barker of Morehead, Ky., father-in-law and wife, Tim and Christy Barker of Sandy Hook, Ky., brother-in-law and wife, Scott and Angie Barker of Sandy Hook, Ky., one niece, Mackenzie Barker of Sandy Hook, Ky.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013, in the Chapel of Waddell and Whitt Funeral Home in Sandy Hook, with Brother Kenny Floyd and Brother Delmar Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in the Elliott County Memory Gardens in Sandy Hook, Kentucky.

Friends may visit after 11 a.m. Saturday until the service hour at the funeral home.

Boyd Conley, Mitchell Oney, Josh Salyers, Jesse Adkins, Scott Barker, Bill Moore, Patrick Moore and Steve Mullins will serve as pallbearers.
