Mrs. Mary Kerlin Torbet
Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Kerlin Torbet, 61, of Homer, were held Nov. 26 at 2 p.m. at Arlington Cemetery in Homer with the Rev. James Humphreys and the Rev. Cleburne Quaid officiating.
Services were under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Haynesville.
Mrs. Torbet died Nov. 24 in a Shreveport hospital following a lengthy illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Homer and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and a former school teacher.
Survivors include her husband, J.W. Torbet Jr. of Homer; three daughters, Cindy Killgore of New Iberia, Melissa Llewellyn of Houston, Texas and Molly Belcher of Ruston; two sons, J.W. Torbet III of Oxford, Miss. and Black F. Torbet of Jonesboro; her mother, Mrs. Myrtle B. Kerlin of Homer and five grandchildren.
