KEMP, ROGER DEAN - age 56, a resident of Knoxville, passed away Sunday evening, June 26, 2005 at the home of his daughter. He was born January 24, 1949 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, moving to Orlando, Florida at a young age and has been living in Knoxville since 1991. Roger was employed by Martin Marietta as an electrician at the Y-12 plant in Oak Ridge. Preceded in death by: his wife, Dorothy JoAnn Kemp parents, Russell & Verna McFarland Kemp.

Survivors: daughters, Laura Robinson & husband, Craig of Knoxville, Sandra Kemp of Knoxville brother, David Kemp & wife, Elli of Maryville sisters, Ella Webster & husband, Ernie of Winter Park, Florida, Rebecca Simowitz of Delmar, Delaware, Mary Carol Lowie & husband, Jerry of Eustis, Florida grandchildren, Katie, Abby, Justin & Emma Robinson, all of Knoxville also, several nieces, nephews, special friends & extended family members.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, June 29, 2005 in the Chapel with Pastor Will Johns officiating. Burial and graveside service will follow the service at the Davis Cemetery in Coalfield. Sharp Funeral Home of Oliver Springs is in charge of all the arrangements.
