Mrs. John Sullivan
Howard--Mrs. John (Clara) Sullivan, of rural Winfred, died Sunday evening at a Madison hospital. Funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 11:00am in St. Agatha's Catholic Church, Howard, with the Rev. Henry Sikkes and the Rev. L. Sullivan concelebrants. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Howard-–Funeral mass for Mrs. John (Clara) Sullivan, who died Sunday, will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:00am in St. Agatha's Catholic Church. Burial will in in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Clara Schmit was born August 10, 1911, to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schmit in Miner County. On June 1, 1937, she married John Sullivan at Mellette and they farmed in the Howard area for many years. Survivors include three brothers: William and Mike Schmit, both of Canova; and Pete, Olivia, Minnesota; and two sisters: Betty Kessler, Los Angeles, California; and Katherine Ross, Tulare. Willoughby Funeral Home announced the arrangements.
