In order to have her buried at Springdale, her body was brought across China, over the Pacific by ship, with a stretch of Trans-Siberian railroad across Asia and Europe. A ship voyage across the Atlantic and the Pennsylvania railroad to Madison. She was the child of Guy and Pauline Hamilton, were who missionaries.
