Michael Eugene Smith


Michael Eugene Smith, Ponca City, passed from this life on Jan. 25, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was 64.

A memorial service will be held Feb. 26, at 2 p.m. at Sunset Baptist Church, with the Rev. Matt Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Longwood Cemetery.

Michael was born in Wiesbaden, Germany in the Military General Hospital on Sept. 14, 1948, the son of Knoble Gene Smith and Tamara Lili Kusnetsova.

He grew up in an air force family, moving frequently. Michael spent the greatest share of his life in California. He moved to Oklahoma in 1995.

He greatly enjoyed fishing, gardening, lawnwork, movies and especially his two Great Danes.

Michael is survived by his wife, Donna Ingram of 23 years, and his father, Knoble Smith, both of the home. Michael was blessed to enjoy his dad's company for many happy years.

Michael will be greatly missed.
