Dennis Michael Klaas, 59, of Fulton, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Feb. 2, 1951, in St. Louis, the son of the late Harold and Joan (Tebeau) Klaas. On June 15, 1997, in Mokane, he married Dianna Ward. She survives at their home. He is survived by two sons, Sean Greenwood and Jimmy Greenwood both of Texas; five daughters, Carmen Neubert of Italy, Angela Forget and Patricia Cain both of Illinois, Dana Black of Jefferson City, and Nicole Ward of Auxvasse; four brothers, Jeff Klaas of Jerseyville, IL, Johnny Klaas of Cain, IL, Randy Klaas of Troy MO, and Tommy Klaas of Bellafontaine Neighbors; one sister Cathy McMullen of New Alexandria MO; and seven grandchildren. Dennis was employed as a Security Aide for Fulton State Hospital. He was a member of the Victory Fellowship Church in Jefferson City. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Associate Pastor John Long officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday from 1 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Second Wind Foundation of St. Louis in care of Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court St. P.O. Box 818, Fulton, Mo 65251.
