Herman Scheper, 85, Little Falls, died December 10, 1997, at St. Otto's Care Center. Funeral Services were held December 13 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton with Father Laurn Virnig officiating.
Herman was born May 24, 1912, in Morrill, to John and Wilhelmina (Tiemer) Scheper. He married Bessie Miller May 3, 1938, in Morrill. Bessie died April 8, 1958.
Herman served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He then went to work on the railroad in Royalton for a short time, farmed west of St. Cloud and later was employed by Morrison County as a mechanic until his retirement. He was a resident of St. Otto's for the past six years. Herman was a lifetime member of the VFW.
