Paul Edwards

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 18, at Springfield Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home for Paul Granville Edwards of Eugene, who died April 12 of age-related causes. He was 91.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

He was born March 19, 1917, in Leona to Paul and Nellie Baker Edwards. He married Dora Keyes on Nov. 20, 1944, in Stevenson, Wash.

Edwards worked in shipyards during World War II. He worked for 50 years as an equipment operator and logger at Lillegren Logging, McDougals, McClure and George Zelner.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lana Davis of Eugene and Dianna Bottini of Cottage Grove; two sons, Larry of Eugene and Marvin of Springfield; a brother, Frank of Portland; three sisters, Pauline Minnick of Portland, Nellie Minnick of Springfield and Berdune Haynes of Chico, Calif.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Springfield Memorial Gardens.
