Mr Babick & Mr O'Brien were killed when the car they were riding in was in collision with the rear of a one-ton truck. Both vehicles were southbound 20 miles south of Calgary on Highway 2.

The 3rd person in the car sustained minor injuries in the accident and was released from the High River Hospital on Wednesday. No one in the truck was injured.
