Kathryn Marie "Kate" (McCracken) Hasecuster, 87, of Shelbyville, former St. Paul resident, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Heritage House of Shelbyville.
Born Sept. 17, 1925, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of James J. and Madge (Wood) McCracken. She married Don Hasecuster on Dec. 15, 1945, and he preceded her in death on March 20, 1998.
Surviving are two sons, Jim (wife, Cheryl) Hasecuster and Rick Hasecuster, all of Shelbyville; two brothers, Roger McCracken of St. Paul and Steve McCracken of Mooresville; one sister, Pat Margison of Indianapolis; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers. [James J. McCracken and Ronald Edward McCracken]
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, at Paul Hill Cemetery in St. Paul with Dr. Robb Barlow officiating.
Arrangements are being handled by Glenn E. George Funeral Home of St. Paul.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association National Headquarters, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Suite 800, Washington, DC 20004.
