MRS. R. E. BLUME, ILL FEW WEEKS, DIES

Mrs. Rose E. Klein Blume, 48, wife of Frederick Blume, died yesterday morning at her home, 303 Marguerite Avenue, after an illness of several weeks. She was born in Syracuse and had been a resident of the North Side until recently. She was a member of Garfield Council, 19, Sons and Daughters of Liberty; Elizabeth Lodge, Deutsche Order of Harrugari, and the Ladies Aid Society of the Church of the Atonement. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Frederick W. Blume; three daughters, Mrs. William Waldau and Rose and Gladys Blume; a grandson, William Waldau, Jr.; her father, Jacob Klein; four brothers, Jacob Klein, Jr., Schenectady; William F. Klein, Wetumka, Okla., and Edward C. and Charles Klein of Syracuse, and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Bryan, Pasadena, Cal., and Mrs. Albert Gehm, of Syracuse. Funeral services will be conducted at the home at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon by the Rev. J. M. Joslyn, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
