Lee Douglas Sogge was born March 18th, 1931 in Albert Township to Alfred and Marie Olson Sogge. Lee lived in North Dakota where he owned his own barber shop and also worked in road construction. In 1983, he and his family moved to Tucson Arizona where he continued working in road construction and then moving on into maintenance at the University of Arizona. He was a member of the Son of Norway for 37 years and an active member of Dove of Peace Lutheran Church. He married Myrna Paeper, April 5th 1958 in Minnewaukan.
Survivors include his wife of Tucson, two children Douglas Sogge of Greeley Colorado and Kristine Johnson of Tucson Arizona. Lee had four grandchildren that he dearly loved....Three sisters, Solveig Hvinden of Maddock, Mavis (James) Johnson of Heimdal and Eloyce (Gene) Gaffney of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota: Two brothers, Gordon (Darlene) Sogge of Northwood and Rodger (Alice) of Minnewaukan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Melvin, Stephen, Floyd, Arne and Roy Sogge; and a brother-in-law, Oscar "Toby" Hvinden.

Survived by wife, Myrna; son, Douglas Sogge and daughter, Kristine Johnson; grandchildren, Morgan, Lee, Nicole and Jack; three sisters and two brothers.
Memorial services will be held at 1100 A.M. Thursday, September 27, 2007 in the Dove of Peace Lutheran Church, 655 W. Roller Coaster Dr. Arrangements by DESERT SUNSET FUNERAL HOME.
