BEVERLY CLIFFORD SHOEMAKER, 83, died Dec. 17 at Westwood Manor in Corpus Christi, Texas. A native of Texas, Mrs. Shoemaker lived in Hemet 12 years in the 1980s and early 1990s before she returned to Texas. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Shoemaker was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Hemet.
She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Luke of Texas; three grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Glass of Texas.
Services were private. Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Service in Corpus Christi handled arrangements.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Luke and husband Ralph of Plano, Texas, her sister Helen Glass of Corpus Christi, Texas, grandson Dray Pavey and wife Tiffany of Dallas, Texas, and step grandchildren Matthew and Bradley Jackson of Dallas, Texas and many special friends. Beverly was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Fred Clifford, husbands Fred Church Clifford and B. B. Shoemaker. Beverly will be remembered for her special smile and her close walk with Jesus Christ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Westwood Manor, 801 Cantwell Lane, Corpus Christi, Texas, 78408.
