Jacob Heinzen Sheboygan Press May 1, 1940

St. Nazianz, Wis – Funeral services for Jacob Heinzen, aged 69, former resident of this vicinity, who passed away April 26, at a hospital in Marshfield, Wis., were held Monday at St. John's church in that city, with interment in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were the following six nephews of the deceased; Jake Heinzen and Linus Paleckeh of Marshfield; Conrad Binversie of School Hill; Joe Menting of Phlox; Norbert Heinzen of Manitowoc, and Edmund Gehrig of Sheboygan.
Mr. Heinzen was born May 14, 1870, near this village and grew up on this vicinity. In 1898 he was married to Miss Rose Schuler of this village, and after their marriage the couple bought a farm two miles east of Marshfield.
Eleven children were born to this union, of whom two died, Herbert in infancy and Mrs. Wendelin Merkel in 1938. Survivors are the widow; five sons, Ben, Joe, Mat and Ray of Marshfield and Theodore of Medford, Wis., and four daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Hennes of Marshfield, Sister Ruth of Notre Dame Convent, Milwaukee; Mrs. Lawrence Wartner of Wisconsin Rapids and Mrs. Warren Truedea of Mosinee, Wis.
