MRS. DORIS BEVER DIES HER HOME
Mrs. Doris Lee Bever, 47, Barnard, died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at her home following a long illness.
She was born July 22, 1922, the daughter of Mrs. Leah Norris Dobbins Trullinger, Sacramento, Calif., and the late Raymond T. Dobbins. She was married Dec. 22, 1941, at St. Joseph, to Harold Bever, who survives. She had lived most of her life around Barnard. She was a member of the Laura Street Baptist Church, Maryville.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home, Maryville. The Rev. Victor Bollinger will officiate and burial will be in the Clearmont Cemetery.
Besides her husband of the home and her mother, she is survived by a son, Joseph H. Bever of the home; four grandchildren ; two sisters, Mrs. H.L. Morin and Mrs. Martha Pickett, Sacramento, Calif.; three brother, Edward Dobbins, Barnard; Joe Dobbins, Clarkville, Ia., and Dr. James K. Dobbins, St. Joseph; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. E.J. Dobbins, Arkoe; one aunt, Mrs. Pearl Dobbins, Maryville, and several nieces and nephews.
