Nevin A. Lambert Sr., 74, of Skyline Drive, Stoystown, died March 6, 1999 at Somerset Hospital. Born July 28, 1924 in Stonycreek Township, the son of Norman and Henrietta (Hillegass) Lambert. Preceded in death by parents and son James. Survived by his wife of 53 years, the former Dona Coley, and children, Nevin Jr., at home; Nancy, married to Edwin Saxman, Greensboro, N.C.; and William, married to the former Carolyn Willkow, of Friedens, and daughter-in-law Gloria (Bailey) Lambert, Berlin; grandchildren, James and Elizabeth Saxman, Matthew, Adam, Stephanie and Christy Lambert. Retired Stonycreek Township dairy farmer. Member of Shanksville United Methodist Church and Pennsylvania Farmers Association. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Alice Jean Parker officiating. Interment, Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.
