Born September 22, 1966, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Virginia Ellmer Madsen of New Oxford, and the late Dennis Lee Ellmer. He was the stepson of Robert Madsen of New Oxford.
Thomas was a 1984 graduate of Westminster High School.
He had worked as a pizza deliveryman and was an avid coin and Disney memorabilia collector.
Surviving, in addition to his mother and stepfather, are a brother, Allen Madsen of Titusville, FL; sisters, Diana Madsen of Edgemere, MD, Denise Ellmer Sponseller and husband, Brian of Abbottstown, Catherine Poole and husband, Robert of Mt. Airy, MD, and Sharon Ellmer-Reese and her fiance, Michael Stuck of Dalmatia, PA; and aunts and uncles, Joe and Cathy Molz of Worton, MD, and Adele and Jim Macmillian of Concord, CA.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Michael Madsen and Timothy Ellmer.
Funeral services will be held March 26, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, Sykesville, MD. Interment will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Marriottsville, MD.
