"Babe" age 82 died on 11-20-2004 @ Windber Medical Center. John was born 1-4-1922 son of George and Anna (Drzal) Wozny. Preceded in death by parents; brothers Victor (1952) & Edward Wozny (1978), sisters Mary Klink (1996) & Kathyrn C. Kish (2002). Survived by his wife of 56 years the former Josephine Sebes married on 2-7-1948, John & Josephine parented 2 daughters: Mary Lou, wife of Thomas Livingston in Schellsburgh and Barbara Whitney in Mine 37. Also survived by: grandsons, Martin Livingston & wife Kim, Joel Livingston & wife Kristin, and John Carl Livingston; GREAT grandchildren: Melanie Renee & Benjamin Livingston, sister Julianna Berry of Mine 37, brothers: Joseph Wozny in Texas, Stanley Wozny & Frank Wozny both in Windber, numerous nieces & nephews. Babe was a retired coal miner from Berwind White Coal Company. Member of the UMWA and Windber Polish Falcons. Member of (St John Cantius) St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Windber.
