Virginia I. Bain, 80, Salina died January 26, 2011. She was born January 22, 1931 in Salina. She was a retired secretary from Four Square Church and Great Plains Mutual Insurance Company. In the past, she held the office of president as well as other offices in Women's Aglow and the Salina Business Women's Association. She also held the office of Corresponding Secretary of the State Women's Aglow.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence & Margaret King, her brothers, Bob and Clancy King; and her infant son, Steven King.
She is survived by her husband, Mike Bain of the home; her sons, Robert L. Holston and wife Angela, of Salina; David A. Holston and wife Christi, of Monee, Illinois; and Richard Holston and wife Cathy, of Westminster, Colorado; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Joan DePew of Junction City; Lois Weir of Austin, Texas; Karen Rhodenbaugh and Edith Hurtig, both of Salina.
The funeral will be Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Living Water Worship Center, 1111 Elmhurst Blvd., Salina. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 31, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina, where the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to Living Water Worship Center or Hospice of Salina.
