MORRISDALE - Madeline L. Hummel, 86, of Morrisdale RR died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, at Philipsburg Area Hospital.
Born Nov. 22, 1913, in Wallaceton, she was the daughter of Owen and Virgie (Hummel) Kramer.
Mrs. Hummel was a homemaker and a member of Summit Hill United Methodist Church, rural Morrisdale.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Jo Martell of Philipsburg, Mrs. Patricia Womer of Bear, Del., and Mrs. Linda Martell of Clearfield; four sons, Darrell Hummel of LeContes Mills, Dennis Hummel and Roland Hummel, both of Morrisdale RR, and Barry Hummel of Brockway; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harold Kramer of Philipsburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Arthur Hummel on Sept. 12, 1954; a daughter, Avanell Maines; a son, Arthur E. Hummel; and a granddaughter, Bernadette Hummel.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Peter J. Scharler officiating.
Interment will be at Summit Hill United Methodist Cemetery, Morrisdale.
There will be no public visitation.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Clearfield Hospice, 220 Merrill St., Clearfield, Pa. 16830.
