Mrs. Martha Ann Harding, 81, of Collinsville and formerly of Bartlesville, died at 7:05 P.M. On Friday, March 22, 2013 at her home.
Graveside services for Mrs. Harding will be held at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Roger Sheppard, Chaplain for Hope Hospice officiating and under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Hope Hospice, 8291 North Owasso Expressway, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055.
Mrs. Harding was born on December 30, 1931 at Crystal Springs, Mississippi to Jack E. and Annie Marie (Buckley) Newman. She grew up and received her education in Port Gibson, Mississippi and graduated from high school there. She was married to Richard Lee "Dick" Harding on August 20, 1950 in Port Gibson, Mississippi. They made their home at various locations in the United States during Mr. Harding's career with Phillips Petroleum Company and came to Bartlesville to make their home in December 1963. She was employed at the Oak Park Grocery, J.C Penney and at Millstead Van Lines until her retirement. She was an active member of the Bartlesville chapter of Credit Womens International in which she held several offices and had been active in credit women activities at the local and state levels.
Mrs. Harding is survived by one son, Richard L. "Rick" Harding Jr. and his wife Dee of Bartlesville, one daughter, Toni Lee Billbe and husband Jim of Collinsville, one brother, John Earl Newman of Jackson, Mississippi, four grandchildren, Drew Phillips and wife Janna, Shane Billbe, Shannon Crabbe and Starla Jahn, seven great grandchildren, Bryce Phillips, Taylor Phillips, Braden Crabbe, Bailey Crabbe, Alayna Jahn, Lucas Jahn and Holden Billbe, eight nieces and nephews, Lisa Newman, Jay Newman, Judy Kneebone, Dick Harding, Jerry Harding, Jack Harding, Robert Harding Jr., and Joey Harding. She was preceded in death by husband, Richard Lee "Dick" Harding on April 11, 2007,her parents, and a great grandson, Hunter Billbe.
