Mrs. Boldt had been in impaired health several years and had submitted to several operations. She was 43 years old. Funeral services were held at the States Funeral Home in Traer Monday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. W. A. Thompson, pastor of the United Presbyterian church. Mrs. Thompson sang hymns during the services accompanied at the piano by Mrs. J. W. Dodd. Casket bearers were Crystal township neighbors of the Boldt family — Carroll Westfall, Orla Cooper, Vernon Sash, Harry Adair, Henry Emke and Herb Mason. Mesdames Cooper, Westfall, Mason and Emke and Mrs. Harry Rose, of Gladbrook, had charge of the flowers. Burial was in Crystal township cemetery.
