---(from obit) She was born Nov. 27, 1909, in Riesel. She married Homer Garms on Jan. 30, 1928, in Clovis, N.M. He died June 15, 1953. She moved to Littlefield in 1938 and to Lubbock in 1981. She was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church.

She was a homemaker. Two sons preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, ; a brother, of Booneville, Ark.; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
