Funeral service for Wilbert "Will" C. Tiede will be Wednesday, April 3, at 10:30 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, Parkston, with burial at Graceland Cemetery, Mitchell. Koehn Bros. Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangement.
Wilbert Tiede was born Aug. 13, 1925, to John and Antonia (Winter) Tiede on the family farm in Parkston. On June 30, 1962, he married Donna Stern at Salem Lutheran Church, Parkston. He enjoyed working, watching football and his family and friends.
He died March 24 in Littleton, Colo., at the age of 87.
Survivors include his wife, Donna, of fifty years; his son, Thomas (Rebecca) Tiede and granddaughter, Ella Grace, Denver, Colo.; brothers Clarence (Marcelline) Tiede, Parkston, and LeRoy (Donna) Tiede, Surprise, Ariz.; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Wynetta Weisser, Parkston, and Altea Dewald, Mitchell.
