Miss Yvonne G. Korte, 80, formerly of Plymouth, passed away on Monday evening, May 6, 1991 at Heritage Nursing Center in Sheboygan where she had been a resident for the past four years.

She was born on March 1, 1911 in the Town of Plymouth, a daughter of the late Herman and Clara Hiller Korte. She attended the Plymouth Schools, graduating from Plymouth High School in 1929. She had been employed at Clore's Grocery for several years. She was later employed at Borden Foods for 25 years, retiring in 1967. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Christ in Plymouth.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Eileen Trout, of Capital Heights, Maryland; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Evan, also a half-brother, Earl and a half-sister, Ivy.

Funeral services will b held on Friday, May 10 at 2 p.m. at the Wittkopp Funeral Home in Plymouth. The Rev. William Rishes, pastor of First Congregational United Church of Christ in Plymouth will officiate. Burial will be in Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may cal at the Wittkopp Funeral Home in Plymouth on Friday from 12 a.m. until the time of services that afternoon. A memorial fund has been established in the name of Yvonne G. Korte.
