Elmer (Fudd) W. Brandl, age 62, of 6627 County Trunk JJ, Manitowoc, died peacefully at home Sunday afternoon, September 22, 1996, surrounded by his family.
Funeral Services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, September 26, 1996, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno.
Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Dave Beaudry with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

He was born June 28, 1934, in the town of Manitowoc Rapids, son of Reinhardt Brandl and the late Genevieve Kuenhl Brandl. Elmer attended St. Joseph Catholic Grade School in Alverno and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1952. On March 2, 1957, he married the former Marjorie Carbon at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno. Mr. Brandl was employed with Wisconsin Public
Service Corp. of Two Rivers for 44 years retiring July 1, 1996. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Brandl; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Linda Brandl; two daughters and one son-in-law, Lynn and Scot Steckmesser,
Christine Brandl, all of Manitowoc; his father, Reinhardt Brandl, Manitowoc; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Art Brandl, Milwaukee, Pat and Sue Brandl, Manitowoc, Dennis and Linda Brandl, Manitowoc; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Elaine Sickinger, Newton, LouAnn and Marc Samz, Manitowoc. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Kristin, Heather, Ashley and Sarah Brandl, Jacob
Steckmesser; brothers-in-law and their wives, John Jr. and Doreen Carbon, Manitowoc, Raymond and Judy Carbon, Green Bay, Richard and Janice Carbon, Manitowoc;
sisters-in-law and their husbands, Rosemarie and Ray Cisler, Manitowoc, June and Teddy Meyer, Illinois, Mary Carol and Richard Haupt, Manitowoc. He is further survived by Caroline of Utah, and Rosie Carbon of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Brandl, three brothers-in-law, Robert Sickinger, Frederick Carbon, Roger Carbon, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Lucille Carbon.

Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home 4-8 p.m. Wednesday where a prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. by Rev. Dave Beaudry. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno.

He loved his grandchildren, tractors and the Green Bay Packers. He was a loving husband and father who always had time for everyone and will be sadly missed by those who knew him.
