Rion Colin Monk Rion Colin Monk, age 26, died on Friday, September 9, 2005, as a result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born to Kathi Monk Gehm and Gordon Monk on November 27, 1978.
After graduating from Lake Highlands High School in Dallas, Texas, 1996, he moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas. He was employed at Mindwave Research, Inc.
He is survived by his fiancé Angelica Hernandez, John Gehm, Krista, Scott, and Major Pruitt, brothers Trey and Jamie Monk, grandparents, Earline Monk and Ken and Bonnie Payne, brother Chris Gehm and Aunt Kay Gehm.
As a result of Rion's organ donor legacy, eight persons will receive the gift of life who would have died within the next week.
He was an active member of an Austin motorcycle club.
