Mireille M. Popp, 78, of 430 30th Ave., East Moline, died Monday, Aug. 10, 1998, at Illini Hospital, Silvis.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Knox-Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to ARC.
Mireille Samier was born Feb. 24, 1920, in Moline, to Henry Victor and Loretta Merle Stagner Samier. She married Marshall L. Popp Feb. 8, 1941, in Muscatine, Iowa. He died July 30, 1995.
Mrs. Popp was owner/operator of Mireille's Oui Poodle Parlour, Rock Island.
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie, Rock Island, and founding member of ARC.
She enjoyed playing piano and dancing to polka music.
Survivors include sons, Roland Popp, Moline, and Randy Popp, Rock Island; a stepson, John Popp, Rock Island; a daughter, Marsha Popp, Moline; grandchildren, Lonnie A. Popp, Robbie Popp, Lisa Still, Mireille Popp, Christian Popp, Julie Westland and Aaron Krysiak; great-grandchildren, Lonnie E. Popp, Marshall E. Popp, Breanne Barker, Bobby Barker Jr., Raymond Still, Beth Ann Westland, Breanna Westland, Jayme Westland, Nathan Still and Caitlin Still; a sister, Michelle Buchholz, Colona; brothers, Billy G.
