City Woman Dies Sunday
Funeral arrangements will be announced later for Mrs. Alpha Eva Hall, 49, who died in the Stillwater municipal hospital Sunday. Strode Funeral home will have charge of plans and burial is set at Fair Lawn cemetery.
Mrs. Hall was born in Stillwater in 1894, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Artie L. Stich. In 1920 she was married to Lon Hall at Newkirk. She lived in Payne county most of her life and was a member of the Pawnee Christian church.
Survivors include her husband, Lon Hall, three daughters and one son, all of 508 East Tenth street. Children are Wanda Lucille, Norma Sue, Doris Ann , Wendell Keith. Two children died in infancy. Also surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Artie Stich, Ponca City, and a step son, Marion Hall, Bayton, Texas.
Four sisters and four brothers are also listed as survivors. They include Mrs. Goldie Truitt, Santa Anna, Calif.; Mrs. Helen Freeman, Wayne, Mich.; Mrs. Ruth Day, Blackwell; Mrs. Maudine Wood, Stillwater; Henry Stich, Stillwater; LeRoy Stich, with seabees in the Pacific; Luther Stich, merchants marine in the Atlantic; and Pvt. Layton E. Stich, Camp Houze, Texas.
