Marcel J. Paquette, 53, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away suddenly on April 19, 2013 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born September 13, 1959 in Newport, VT the son of Reynold Paquette and the late Jeanne (Guillette) Paquette. Marcel enlisted into the U.S. Army for 7 years. On September 3, 1989 he married Regina Pietkiewicz who survives him. He was a Post Master for the U.S. Postal Service for many years.
He is survived by his wife Regina Paquette of Amarillo, Texas, by his children: Felicia and Allison Paquette both of Amarillo, Texas, by his father Reynold Paquette of Newport, VT, by his sisters: Yvonne Steinhoff and her husband Ernest of Newport, VT, Linda Keifer and her husband Lloyd of Clifton Park, NY, and Diane Tanguay of Newport, VT, and by his sister-in-law Monique Paquette of Lyndonville, VT He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Michael Paquette in 1995.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday April 27, 2013 at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Derby Line, VT where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
