Cynthia Ann Whittemore Vaught, 63, of the 1500 block of Campbell's Landing, Virginia Beach, VA, passed away on April 15, 2013.
Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to the late Robert R. and Shirley Halstead Whittemore, Cynthia was a teacher's assistant with Virginia Beach Public Schools.
She is survived by a son, Troy Vaught of Virginia Beach, VA; fiancé, George T. Alcorn of Virginia Beach, VA; two brothers, James R. Whittemore and wife Julie of West Chicago, IL and Robert L. Whittemore and wife Donna of Old Trap, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her beautiful smile will be missed by everyone she touched with her amazing grace and loving heart.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Halstead Family Cemetery, 6296 Pocahontas Club Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23457. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Creeds Volunteer Fire and Rescue or the charity of your choice.
