Wesley Sanger Dunn Jr., 50, a life-long resident of Okmulgee County, died on Saturday, October 25, 1997. He was born on December 16, 1946, in Tahlequah, Okla., to Wesley Sr. and JoAnn (Sunny) Dunn. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He married Sharon Davis on December 21, 1966 in Stillwell, Okla. He was a Quality Control Inspector for Ball Brothers Glass Co. for 28 years and was a member of the Honey Creek Methodist church in Wilson.

Survivors include his wife of the home in Morris: one son, Wesley "Bo" Sanger Dunn III of the Morris, two daughters, Melissa Leist and husband Brion of Liberty Morris, and Paula Huelster and husband Randy of Morris; four brothers, Thomas Dunn of Okmulgee, George Dunn of Morris, Mark Dunn of Tahlequah, and Otis Dunn of Morris: two sisters, Kathy Haney of Morris and Josephine Wells of Shawnee, Okla.: and four grandchildren.

Wake services will e held on Tuesday, October 28 1997 at 7 p.m. in the Honey Creek Methodist Church in Wilson, Okla. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 1997 at 2 p.m. in the Honey Creek Methodist Church. Bro. Bob Woodfield and Bro. Tom Sunny will Officiate. Burial will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Kelley Funeral Home.

Casketbearers will be Jesse Long, Dale Dill, Bobby Hardridge, Bob Beets, Jim Bryant, and Tom Curran. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.
