Mass of Christian Burial was offered Monday at Our Lady of Grace Roman Catholic Church for Anna Pfeifer Hoffman, 82, who died Thursday at Garden Manor Nursing Home in Lakewood. Mrs. Hoffman was born July 23, 1898 in Victoria, Kan.

Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery at Brighton. Contributions may be made to a charity of friends' choice.

She and Michael Hoffman were married in 1916 in St. Peter, Kan. They moved to Colorado in 1929, settling in Sterling, then moved to Brighton in 1941 and to Denver in 1951. Mr. Hoffman died in 1959.

Survivors include five sons, Carl of Denver, Bernard of Commerce City, Severine of Englewood, and Godfrey and Michael Hoffman, both of Brighton; four daughters, Elizabeth Schiefelbein and Leona Brown, both Brighton, Seraphina Hawthorne of Sidney, Neb., and Ella Mae Lawrence of Denver; 48 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
